Southern Inventions founders, Forrest Parker and his sister, Selene Crosby, grew up on a ranch in central Texas. What was often a necessity - making something to do what you need to do out of something you already have - became a pastime and eventually an avocation.
After both siblings had engineering careers that spanned manufacturing in multiple industries, they formed Southern Inventions to create and sell their designs. However life, as usual, had other plans. In 2019, Southern Inventions purchased the assets of Millwork Services, a commercial cabinetry provider.
